About Eleni Chasou
Eleni Chasou has over her 20+ years of experience in the financial business industry, Eleni’s work experience includes: an accounts receivable and payable specialist, a Treasury analyst in a multinational telecommunications company, an accountant, an auditor and an Operations, Human Resource and Finance manager of a company in the Smart Home solutions industry. In the course of her career she has created and documented two procedure manuals with detailed explanations and instructions. The first manual was a detailed explanation of the Oracle ERP reconciliation system, including 17 procedures detailing the processing and reconciliation of the bank statements and the end of month reporting. This manual was used for training and setting up a new team in India.
The second manual covered the full detailed explanation of the SAP accounting system including 58 procedures of the daily bookkeeping activities, the daily funding and cash management procedures. It included the procedures detailing the VAT and Tax obligations of the company, and specifics of the preparation of the required documentation, calculations and submissions involved. It also include detailed procedures of the human resource system and the procedures for all employee related functions. All procedures are drafted and explained in order to ensure the successful hand-over of information to all members of the team, irrespective of experience and knowledge.
With her extensive experience in various aspects of a business, Eleni has developed a well-rounded understanding of the mechanisms of various departments of a company, and she has experienced first-hand the importance of implementing processes and procedures. With her ‘Work The System’ training she is now able to support and guide companies in documenting their procedures as well as ensure that they work efficiently and effectively to achieve their goals.
Eleni is also the co-founder and Treasurer of a Charity which was set up in 2009 and based in Cyprus, the Dr Yiota Demetriou the Dancing Queen Foundation. The main aim of the foundation is to assist in the improvement of the mental health of children and teenagers from families with financial difficulties, by providing financial support so that the children can receive the therapies they need. To ensure continuity of the foundation and to pass the work onto the next generations, Eleni has implemented the WTS mind-set, created the required documents and included them in the introduction package for all new board members.
